I should be asleep right now (shh! don't tell mom). But I can't sleep so, I might as well make the most of it.

Today was good. I talked on the phone with my bff Ehop, her house was almost destroyed by a tornado. Her whole neighborhood was damaged pretty bad, her house only had roof damage though. I'm really glad she's safe.

Okay random thing that just came to my mind (this happens a lot with me). I am always mistaken for a 6th grader (ughhhh!), mostly because I'm really short. About a week ago a guy in my youth group asked me what grade I was in, I said "8th". He says "really?", I say "yeah...." expecting him to say "I thought you were in like 6th grade". To my surprise he says "Wow, I thought you were like a sophomore in high school." Its weird, but I was kinda happy. Finally, someone who thought I was older than I really am. I said "nope I'm in 8th." That ended the conversation. That was the highlight of last week.

sorry if I'm boring you..... but I'm just writing whatever pops into my head (which could get scary).

I sang in the youth band in church tonight (as usual). We sang "How He Loves" by David Crowder Band, "Came to my rescue" by Hillsong United, and one of my favorites "Everything Falls" by Fee. If you haven't heard those songs, you should check them out. There are all really good songs.

Its hard for me to pick one subject and stick to it, can you tell?

If your wondering where the name Shalayla came from, it was the name of my first horse. Who had to be put to sleep last June because of a twisted gut. Okay, I really need to go to bed. Good Night!
